Our state testing window is April 26-May 26.

Each grade level has six to seven specific dates for testing.  Please check with your child's teacher for their exact testing dates for your child.

VAPA feedback

We are asking for parent feedback on our VAPA programs. In order to continue with these classes, we must demonstrate the benefits to our students. Please share your thoughts with us though a letter, an email or by clicking on the survey link. We appreciate your support.

Thank you to all our parents, students and teachers that made our 2nd VAPA GALA a huge success! Even Woodland School Board Member, Michael Pyeatt was able to attend.
 

Session 3 classes will begin on Monday, April 18th and run through Thursday, May 26th. Be on the lookout for information on the 3rd and final VAPA GALA event.
 

We still have limited spots in several classes. See the attachment below. Bring in your slip, and get signed up. Don't miss out.

Now that we have winter weather, we will follow the plan below if it is raining or below freezing in the mornings.

8:00 – Cafeteria opens – all students proceed to the cafeteria

 

Grades 4-6

8:10 – Students proceed to their classrooms

Grades K-3

8:45 – Students will be picked up in the cafeteria by their teachers

 

WEDNESDAY ONLY

We are collecting Box Tops to help raise funds for Tafoya students.  Please help us by following these simple steps:

  1. Neatly cut your Box Tops around the dotted lines, making sure you preserve the expiration date and acronym code. Please do not send expired Box Tops as those are NOT valid.
  2. Bundle your Box Tops in groups of 50.  Sets of 50 Box Tops can be put together by using a rubber band, an envelope, or a plastic baggie. If you do not have enough to make a set of 50, that is fine send what you have.  Remember, every little bit helps!
  3. Have your child turn in Box Tops to his/her teacher, or drop them off in the office for Mrs. Medina.

We will be sending in our first Box Top redemption the last week of October.  So, please gather your Box Tops quickly and help us raise funds for our first Box Top check. If you have any questions or would like to volunteer with this fundraiser please contact maria.medina@wjusd.org or at 666-4324.
